Opened in November 2019, the Paphos Interventional Cardiology Center offers specialised cardiac invasive treatments. The centre is fully equipped with the latest special imaging equipment. This equipment can show a full view of the heart in the event of stenosis or an abnormality. We provide high quality services for the patients presenting with acute coronary syndromes including myocardial infection and for patients with rhythm abnormalities.
Diagnostic procedures performed:
- Left and right heart catheterization
- Coronary angiograms
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (Anyioplasty)
- Permanent and temporary pacemaker implementation
- ICD (implantable Cardioverter defibrillator) implantation
A quick diagnosis means that the immediate risk can be highlighted and treatment performed as soon as possible to prevent further damage to the heart.
The Cardiac Cath Lab is led by the cardiologist Dr Constantinos Andreou who is supported by a very experienced cardiac medical team.
